Faith. Strength. Perseverance.

Meet Jose Orozco

Jose Orozco knows a thing or two about adversity. As a kid, Jose and his mom sold shoes at the flea market to make ends meet. It was a tough childhood, but his mom’s lessons of faith, strength, and perseverance shaped him for life.

Determined to serve his country, when Jose was enlisting in the Marines, he was selected into the Officers Training Program, but a training accident meant he couldn't serve. Undeterred, he found another way to give back to his country—working as a contractor with the DEA, where he helped take down cartels, stop human traffickers, and keep drugs like fentanyl off our streets. He went on to fight for conservative policies and create jobs here in New Mexico.

Now, Jose is running for Congress in New Mexico’s 2nd District to fight for our values and our future. He’ll work to lower taxes and tackle inflation, back law enforcement against gangs and traffickers, protect oil and gas jobs that power our economy, and give President Trump an ally in Congress.

Jose and his wife, Amy, are raising their teenage son in Albuquerque. Together, they know what it means to overcome challenges—and to fight for a better future for every New Mexican.
